Completion of the First Year of the Student Project by IRP Technology and HSE University

On Tuesday, June 15, the second strategic session of the student project “Platform for Core Competencies Co‑investment in Interaction with Rostec State Corporation and Rosatom State Corporation” was held, where the results of the work of the student subgroups under the guidance of their curators — leading academics and industry practitioners — were summarized for the 2020–2021 academic year.

The teams presented their results across several areas.

These included a comprehensive PC³ concept developed by the “Positioning and Promotion” team, draft user agreements and confidentiality terms created by the “Legal Regulation” team, and PC³ interface variations from the “Applied Psychology” team. The “Business Process Design” team prepared workflow diagrams for project progression on PC³ and competitiveness factor assessment based on the Matrix of Core Competencies (MCC model), while the “Project Management” team developed the project charter. Issues related to the compilation of a glossary, mission, and vision were addressed by the “Strategic and Innovation Development” subgroup.

The “Business Analytics and Financial Modeling” team made a significant contribution to the development of project evaluation processes for projects coming to PC³ and presented a verification form for confirming the presence of declared core competencies, a financial and economic model template for project and participant contribution assessment, and an MCC model template for project competitiveness evaluation. These forms were tested on the platform’s first pilot project for oilfield equipment development.

The “PR and Media” subgroup presented the platform’s website, a content plan, and materials for PC³’s future social media channels. They also presented initial logo concepts, which may later become part of the brand book. Additionally, the media team produced a teaser video for the platform featuring members of the various subgroups. The “International Cooperation and GR” subgroup reported at the strategic session that they were preparing for in-person briefings at government ministries and agencies.

One of the most notable highlights of the meeting was the presentation by the “Data Science” subgroup. In addition to the algorithm for matching potential participants based on core competencies, the team introduced a voice assistant named “Tanya,” which is currently programmed to provide a detailed overview of the platform and its key features.

Work on the platform and its projects will continue in the upcoming academic year.
