HSE University Hosts Presentation of First Stage Results of the “Platform for Core Competencies Co‑investment” Project

The developed platform will make it possible to promote initiative projects of various scales to the international level and support innovative developments. Participants in the platform can include not only large state corporations but also young ambitious projects in need of specific competencies. The platform will help promote emerging talent and realize large‑scale ideas on international platforms at various levels. It is important to note that it is not a competitor to existing large ecosystems, as the core idea of the “Platform for Core Competencies Co‑investment” is to create a unified framework for interaction among any market participants.

Security and confidentiality of personal data and the prevention of data leaks will be overseen by members of a dedicated subgroup, while the reliability of the platform and participant relations will be ensured by the Legal Regulation group. Government support will be secured by the GR group.

Twelve initiative student subgroups, each led by experienced mentors, are involved in creating the platform. The project participants underwent a rigorous selection process and demonstrated a high level of knowledge on the platform’s subject matter, as well as a strong sense of responsibility for their work, at the first strategic session.

The launch of pilot projects on the platform is expected in the near future.

Epidemiological restrictions prevented the meeting from being held offline, so the session took place via Microsoft Teams. During the four‑hour session, student representatives from the twelve initiative subgroups presented the results of their work from the first part of the project.

The presentations and ideas of the participants received expert evaluation. The presentations were commented on by invited guests. The head of the student project, Andrey Y. Podchufarov, concluded the session by wishing the participants continued active and productive work in the second half of the year. A group photo was also taken — in the online format, it was replaced by a screenshot of the meeting.

Despite the lack of in‑person contact, a productive workflow was successfully organized. At this stage, the launch and ongoing operation of the platform are planned to be carried out remotely; however, this will not affect its efficiency. A form is already being prepared, which, once completed, will allow anyone to become a participant in the project by offering their experience, knowledge, and business ideas, and implementing them with the support of the competencies of other participants.
