IRP Technology Competitiveness Management Methods Form the Basis of a Report by the Joint Department with the Foreign Trade Association “Avtopromimport” of HSE University at the Rosatom State Corporation Higher School of Physics

In late June, the Higher School of Physics, a scientific school dedicated to current developments in nuclear energy — specifically, small modular nuclear power plants (SMNPPs) and water-water energetic reactors (VVER) — was held at the Corporate Academy of Rosatom State Corporation. Andrey Y. Podchufarov, Professor and Head of the Joint Department with the Foreign Trade Association “Avtopromimport”, presented modern methods of competitiveness management for nuclear energy facilities to the school’s participants.

The lectures delivered as part of the Higher School of Physics covered materials on the application of virtual digital nuclear power plants with VVER reactors, the development of digital twins for SMNPPs, modern methods of neutron-physical calculations, modeling of multiphysics processes, and other topics. The lecture on competitiveness management for nuclear energy facilities included brief overviews of applied disciplines taught by the department at HSE University’s undergraduate and graduate levels, encompassing modern methods of analysis and forecasting, the specifics of business internal and external environments, and the application of various approaches to the SMNPP field.
