IRP Technology-Initiated Stage of the HSE University Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs Project with Rosatom State Corporation on Developing a Digital Twin of Small Modular Nuclear Power Plants (SMNPPs) Successfully Completed

Another stage of the joint work between the HSE University Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs and Rosatom State Corporation on developing a digital twin of small modular nuclear power plants (SMNPPs) has been successfully completed. The Faculty of Economic Sciences, the Faculty of Computer Science, and the Faculty of Social Sciences of HSE University also took an active part in the implementation of the agreement. 


As part of the second stage of the research and development work on creating a digital twin, carried out by VNIIAES JSC (All-Russian Research Institute for Nuclear Power Plant Operation), the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs of HSE University completed the initial work on developing a module for managing baseline performance indicators, analyzing users in the context of the subject area’s specificities, and conducting feasibility studies.

Further interaction between the faculty and Rosatom State Corporation organizations is planned in the framework of promising development areas for the coming years.
