On September 12–13, 2026, the BRICS Summit was held in India, bringing together representatives of business, government bodies, educational and research organizations from the member states. The focus was on industrial cooperation, technological collaboration, and the expansion of mutual economic ties.
A separate place on the agenda was given to innovation development, digitalization, and the formation of sustainable cooperation chains between the countries of the association. Participants discussed approaches to supporting joint projects, developing human capital, and the role of educational initiatives in strengthening cross-country interaction.
IRP Technology took part in the Summit. Participation provided an opportunity to review the current BRICS agenda and exchange views on areas relevant to the development of international industrial cooperation.
The issues discussed at the venue further confirm the relevance of flexible approaches to organizing projects, including those based on the principles of non-financial co-investment. Such approaches make it possible to bring together the competencies of partners from different countries without initial financing and reduce barriers to cross-country cooperation, which is particularly in demand amid the formation of new production and technology chains.
