PC³ Algorithms Used for Promising Small Nuclear Power Projects

As part of the events of the Presidium of the Scientific and Technical Council of Rosatom State Corporation, Andrey Y. Podchufarov and Sergey L. Solovyov delivered a joint report on the topic “Current Issues in Competitiveness Management for the Promising Small Modular Nuclear Power Plants (SMNPPs) Direction,” in which they presented algorithms related to competitiveness management based on the MCC‑approach.

The Platform’s algorithms, associated with competitiveness assessment and management based on the Matrix of Core Competencies (MCC‑approach), are applied to various subjects of socio‑economic relations: business lines, companies, industries, and entire economies. The MCC‑approach is a method of managing an entity’s competitiveness based on analyzing and identifying the core competencies required to achieve competitive advantages. The model involves the analysis of product competitiveness (Circuit 1), operational competitiveness (Circuit 2), and the construction of a Matrix of Core Competencies (Circuit 3), which reflects the importance and level of development of each competency for the organization. Based on this matrix, strategies are developed for building and managing the competencies needed to achieve the organization’s goals.
