PC³ Approach Presented at the 10th All‑Russian Scientific, Practical, and Educational Conference “Fundamental and Applied Research in Management, Economics, and Trade”

On May 12–16, 2026, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University hosted the 10th All‑Russian Scientific, Practical, and Educational Conference “Fundamental and Applied Research in Management, Economics, and Trade”, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Institute of Industrial Management, Economics, and Trade of SPbPU. Within the section “Technological Development of Countries Worldwide,” a report was presented by A.N. Galkina and S.S. Vanina on the topic “Non‑Financial Co‑investment as an Institutional Environment Tool for Technological Development.”

The report provided a comparative analysis of traditional financial approaches and non‑financial co‑investment, supplemented by a cross‑country correlation analysis of foreign direct investment, R&D expenditure, high‑tech exports, and private participation in infrastructure projects. The Platform for Core Competencies Co‑investment (PC³) was presented as a practical tool for implementing the principles of non‑financial co‑investment. The presented materials generated interest among section participants and received positive feedback.

The conference, organized by the Institute of Industrial Management, Economics, and Trade of SPbPU, brought together representatives of the scientific and academic community across a wide range of areas, including economics and management in the production sector, innovation economics, socio‑economic forecasting, logistics and marketing, tools for countering risks and threats to economic security, public administration of socio‑economic and technological development, as well as mathematical and digital methods in economics and management.
