Strategic Session of the Second Stage of the PC³ Project Successfully Held in the 2021–2022 Academic Year

On Friday, July 1, 2022, the strategic session of the student project “Development of the Platform for Core Competencies Co‑investment in Interaction with Rostec State Corporation and Rosatom State Corporation” took place.

During the online discussion, project team participants presented the results achieved, including an analysis of the pilot project for creating a cluster of advanced energy technologies.

In the 2021–2022 academic year, particular focus was placed on the work of eight teams, with the aim of developing the PC³ platform internally and testing the results on pilot projects. The new pilot project was the development of a cluster of advanced energy technologies. Throughout the work, the “Project Management” team was responsible for task assignment and progress monitoring for both platform development and the pilot project. A summary results table was presented at the strategic session, confirming that the set goals had been achieved.

The “International Cooperation and GR” team addressed issues of interaction with public institutions and government bodies and prepared presentation materials for submission to government agencies. “Positioning and Promotion (Marketing)” focused on building a marketing strategy and shaping the product’s overall look, while “Business Process Design” was engaged in describing and structuring the project’s business processes. The “Legal Regulation” participants examined matters related to platform tokenization, intellectual property, and data storage.

The “Applied Psychology” team presented opportunities for applying UX and UI design practices to create PC³ interfaces and foster a positive team environment. The “Business Analytics and Financial Modeling” team worked on econometric and financial modeling tasks, competitiveness assessment and forecasting, and presented universalized templates by the strategic session. “Public Relations and Media” prepared an updated visual identity for the project and presented the results of social media coverage.

As part of the work on the pilot project, the “Positioning and Promotion” team addressed issues related to cluster positioning, market analysis, and product portfolio. The “Business Analytics and Financial Modeling” participants assessed the economic efficiency of the pilot project (including NPV, IRR, PP, and PI calculations), its competitiveness, and identified the core competencies required. The “Legal Regulation” team presented their vision for applying tokenization mechanisms to the pilot project. As a result of the discussion, the structure of cluster partners — holders of core competencies — was defined, and options for the cluster’s territorial location were selected.

The strategic session of the second stage was attended by team curators S.A. Zarembo (“Legal Regulation”) and M.K. Sedov (“Positioning and Promotion (Marketing)”). The discussion of the pilot project was joined by S.L. Solovyov, Scientific Director of the SMNPP Division at VNIIAES JSC (Rosatom State Corporation). In his comments on the preliminary results of the market and financial analysis for creating the cluster of advanced energy technologies, Sergei Leonidovich confirmed the relevance of its creation and highlighted several issues to be addressed in further work.

Work on the PC³ platform and the creation of the cluster of highly promising energy technologies will continue in the next academic year.
