Transition to the new version of GIS Toolkit by Panorama Design Bureau for GIS application development

23.08.2011

The developers at IRP Technology have completed the migration to the new version of the GIS Toolkit 11 library. GIS Toolkit is a set of tools for developing GIS applications, based on the “MAPAPI” access interface to the GIS core developed by Panorama Design Bureau.

GIS Toolkit provides direct access to the procedures and functions of the “MAPAPI” interface of the GIS core. This enables the use of GIS Toolkit in application development across virtually any development environment and programming language that supports API (Application Programming Interface) standards. The “MAPAPI” interface includes over 1,500 procedures and functions for handling spatial data in virtually every scenario. Visual components are provided with source code, application examples, and comprehensive documentation.
